The religious school program at Etz Chaim MTJC
covers the full range from pre-school through high school.
Cantor Jack Kusher is the Principal of our religious school.
In addition to the regular classes described below, our students participate in special activities both at Etz Chaim MTJC and on field trips. Each class in grades 3-7 will also lead two services during the year.

Pre-K through Second Grade
We call our pre-kindergarten group "K'tanim", the little ones.
K'tanim, Kindergarten, first, and second grades meet on Tuesday afternoons from 4:30-6:30.

Grades 3-6
Grades 3-6 meet twice per week, on Monday and Wednesday afternoons,
from 4:30-6:30.
Each afternoon they spend one hour with their Hebrew teacher and one hour with their Jewish studies teacher.

7th Grade
The 7th grade meets on Tuesday afternoons
from 4:30-6:30 for study with the Rabbi and Jewish studies.
They also meet individually with the Rabbi and with a Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutor.

Grades 8-12
Gesher L'Kesher is our program for students after Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
This popular program is led by the Rabbi, but the older students provide much of the leadership themselves.
Gesher L'Kesher meets on Thursday afternoons 5:30-7:30, beginning with a kosher meal together.
